Thanks to everyone who came! We all had such a good time. We’ve been working on some new songs and should have new jams to share soon. It’s so great to be back on stage with these guys again.

Shipyards

Shipyards is a five-piece rock band from Brooklyn, NY, comprised of members who have been writing music together for almost a decade. Within previous groups First Aid Kit, Running on Rooftops, and Counterfit, they have had the pleasure of sharing shows with bands including Q and Not U, Mock Orange, Rahim, Finch, Recover, Piebald, Mates of State, Engine Down, and Moneen, among others.

Their first EP, “A Dream is a Town,” was recorded over the summer of 2008 with good friend Greg Giorgio, whose previous projects include Interpol, Mates of State, Titles, and The National. It will be released on Said Sew Recordings.
